Anismus

This is a very unpleasant condition. It is a form of constipation caused by the person having learned the incorrect muscle action. They tighten the muscles when they should be relaxing them.

The treatment involves using an EMG instrument connect to an Anal sensor. The Sensor is inserted and using the EMG the person can learn the correct muscle action. This is the only effective long term solution for this problem.

As with any medical condition check with a Doctor first to exclude other possible causes.
